It’s that time of year again, Folks! This year May 6th is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY and this year, it could be one of the BIGGEST FCBDs for me yet!

Once again, I’ll be at my regular FCBD hangout, the great Dewey’s Comic City in beautiful Madison, NJ. Dewey’s proprietor, my good friend, Dan Veltre, does a great job turning FCBD into a huge event! I’ll be there alongside my friends and colleagues, Anthony Marques, Fabio Redivo, and many more. We’ll be signing comic books and drawing sketches for FREE! Plus in addition to the free comics, Dan usually has lots of sales and other deals going on. Please check it out! As you can see from the pic above, Dan loves me!

This year, I’ll have TWO comic books as part of the Free Comic Book Day giveaway. First off, Die Kitty Die has a special exclusive story in Chapterhouse Publishing’s Captain Canuck Free Comic Book Day Special. This isn’t just a reprint of old stuff like many FCBD offerings. This is a completely new story written and drawn by my fellow Die Kitty Die colleague, Dan Parent and myself called “It’s My Beach Party And I’ll Die If I Want To!” Here ‘s a little preview:

In addition to this, I also have the Animal Jam Free Comic Book Day Special from Dynamite Comics available this Free Comic Book Day. This is a completely new book written and drawn by myself with beautiful colors by the talented Pete Pantazis. I’ve been talking about my Animal Jam gig a lot and this is a great prologue to the regular series which I’m also writing and drawing. If you’re not familiar with Animal Jam, this is a great starting point as I specifically wrote the story to introduce new readers to the exciting cool world of National Geographic’s incredible popular online game,  Animal Jam. Please give it a shot. Here’s my cover to this issue:

Dynamite editor and my boss on the Animal Jam gig, Anthony Marques, will be on hand at Dewey’s on FCBD so its an opportunity to get your Animal Jam FCBD specials signed by both of us!
