Spider Gwen sketch cover featuring Vamperonica

I’ve mentioned before that one of my most popular requests at comic book conventions is Archie Comics’ Betty Cooper as Spider Gwen.

A number of these mash-ups are popular such as Veronica as Wonder Woman and Betty as Supergirl or Power Girl. SpiderGwen Betty is leaving them in the dust. I will most likely have to draw at least ONE new Spider Gwen Betty per convention. Here I’ve drawn on a wraparound blank sketch cover. The characters, theme and dialogue were all the idea of the commissioner of this piece. I hope he’s happy with this one.

The tools used on this one were Copic markers on the figures and Charpak markers for the background elements. Thanks to my pal, Gisele Lagace for stitching this one together for me.
