Hey! Look! I can still draw these guys!
This was a private card I made for a friend who is celebrating his one year anniversary at his current position.
I guess its also an anniversary of sorts in that it’s been a little over a year now since Archie Comics so shabbily did away with me. It hit me as I sat down to draw this one that I rarely draw the Archie characters at all anymore save for commissions and sketches during convention season. Having just gone through the off-season for conventions, it’s been a good few months since I’ve had the need to draw Archie, Jughead or any of the others. I’m glad to see I haven’t lost it! …Have I?
In other news, work continues on Die Kitty Die: Hollywood Or Bust. Dan and I have just wrapped up the art on issue #2 which we hope to post digitally on Gumroad.com in about ten days or so. Convention Season begins again and Dan and I will be kicking off the 2017 Die Kitty Die Hollywood Or Bust World Tour this week at Toronto Comic Con. I’ll be posting details on my Events page tomorrow. We also have a number of other appearances lined up for this year’s tour so I’ll be posting details of those too very soon.
