“This Is A Job For… SUPERMAN!”

Happy New Year, Everybody!

It’s been a while but I want to come back and resurrect the old site. My plan is to update things by posting a lot of the artwork I’ve produced during my sabbatical. Please keep coming back and checking out what’s new. As usual… and thank God… I’ve kept busy so there’s lots of work to post.

In other news… the main reason for my absence has been that I’ve been busy building a Youtube channel. My channel is called Fernando Ruiz Art. I’ve had it for years but I’ve only been posting regularly and seriously for the past year or so. I cover a little bit of everything on the channel. I offer short ten to fifteen minute art lessons on a variety of topics. Sometimes they’re comic book related and sometimes they pertain to Basic Drawing in general. I also will do the occasional comic book review. I’ll look at select modern comics… because honestly I can’t take too much of those… and I’ll also do Retro Reviews where I take a deep look at classic comics of the past. I’ve looked at the early issues of The X-Men and The Incredible Hulk. I’ll be taking a look at more very soon. Please visit the channel, check out the videos and as always, click “like,” subscribe and feel free to share! You can visit the channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhy56KducLyLVmPex8iJGA/featured

I have of course continued to teach at the Kubert School and this year Dan Parent and I have produced our fourth volume in the Die Kitty Die series, Die Kitty Die Starstruck. You can grab a copy here directly from us: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114560651366

More news and posts are coming soon, Everybody. As always, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them below.

Thanks, Everybody!
